Rotterdam listening bar Echo built its counter from art-shipping crate maker's wood

Echo, a listening bar, has opened in Rotterdam, according to Dezeen, a design website. Its main bar doubles as service counter and DJ booth. Baleart Handlers, which makes wooden crates for shipping artworks, built it. Its sides are printed "handled with care", now its tagline. The bar sits on the ground floor of Groot Handelsgebouw, opposite Rotterdam Centraal station.
