Serbia's Student List Wins Decisive Victory in Snap Election as Vučić Concedes Defeat

Serbia's Student List, a candidate list born from student-led protests, has won a decisive victory in a snap (early) parliamentary election. Aleksandar Vučić conceded defeat. He and his Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) had governed for 14 years. The movement grew out of protests that followed a Novi Sad railway station canopy collapse that killed 16 people.
