Hillingdon Council to remove 700 dog-waste bins to save £100,000
Hillingdon Council, in west London, has decided to remove 700 dog-waste bins across the borough, a move it expects will save £100,000 in waste collection costs. The Conservative-run council hopes dog owners will use general litter bins instead. Residents in Ruislip have expressed concern that removing the bins will leave dog faeces everywhere.
