Toblerone owner Mondelēz sues British vegan chocolate brand Catherine's Originals
Mondelēz International, owner of Toblerone, has filed papers at the High Court in London accusing Catherine's Originals, a British vegan chocolate brand, of passing off and trademark infringement over its chunky O'bar. Passing off means presenting goods as another firm's. Trademark infringement means unauthorised use of a protected brand mark. Mondelēz says months of talks failed to reach agreement.
