Former Biden officials who quit over Gaza ask 2028 Democrats to pledge against hiring key policy figures

Twelve former Biden administration officials who resigned over its Gaza policy issued a joint statement, "Gaza Resignees," on October 28, 2026. It asks 2028 Democratic presidential candidates to pledge not to hire officials directly responsible for enabling Israel's military actions in Gaza, and to acknowledge U.S. complicity (involvement) through arms, funding and diplomatic backing.
