Meta Weighs Further Delay to Bot Access Terms for Business Websites

Meta is considering another postponement of updated business terms that would let its bots and crawlers (automated programs that read web pages) access businesses' websites. Implementation could slip past November 20 if consultation with publishers runs longer, Meta said. The terms were originally due October 30. Existing terms stay in force until the new ones take effect.
