Education Secretary Linda McMahon plans to spend $43,278.64 on new office furniture, including a desk, conference table and chairs, according to The Guardian and The New York Times. Her office told Congress the current furniture is worn out and cannot be integrated into the department's new downtown building, which previously housed USAID, the foreign aid agency.
