EIA Lifts Q4 2026 Brent Forecast to $105 a Barrel

The U.S. Energy Information Administration's October Short-Term Energy Outlook projects Brent crude spot prices, the global oil benchmark for prompt delivery, averaging $105 a barrel in Q4 2026. That is about $14 above last month's outlook, which implied roughly $91. The model was finished October 1. It is a forecast, not a market price.
