Undead Labs, maker of State of Decay, is now employee-owned after Xbox divestment

Undead Labs, the Seattle studio behind State of Decay, is now employee-owned, according to studio head Philip Holt. Xbox announced plans in July to divest five studios, including Undead Labs. Staff hold equity through a new Delaware C corporation, a US company type, which acquired the studio. Holt declined to say how many employees were lost.
