Appeals court upholds dismissal of patent suit against Live Nation, Ticketmaster and MLB without ruling on the patents

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit upheld, on October 26, 2026, the dismissal of a patent lawsuit against Live Nation, Ticketmaster and Major League Baseball. The patents were not ruled on. Plaintiff Amy Weissbrod Gurvey, who represented herself, did not oppose the defendants' motions to dismiss despite extended deadlines. The ruling is nonprecedential.
