Ludlow cancels third jumps meeting in a row as hard ground persists

Ludlow racecourse has cancelled its third consecutive jumps meeting this season because the ground is too hard, BBC Sport reported. The driest summer since 1976 has left the track unable to recover, with grass dead in key areas. The Farmers meeting on 5 November is also off. The next planned meeting, Monday 23 November, depends on the ground then.
