Barcelona fined 602 euros over contact with Atletico's Julian Alvarez

Barcelona have been fined 602 euros (£503) by the Spanish football association. Atletico Madrid complained that Barcelona approached striker Julian Alvarez without notifying them in writing. Atletico also took the case to FIFA, which said it had no jurisdiction, meaning no power to rule. Alvarez, under contract to June 2030, remains at Atletico.
