Albanese concedes $6m golf club grant was not for sewerage works

Anthony Albanese has conceded it was "not correct" to say a $6 million grant to Marrickville Golf Club, in Sydney's inner west, was for sewerage works. A Senate estimates hearing was told sewerage is not part of the grant. Shadow energy minister Dan Tehan accused him of misleading parliament. The club is in Albanese's electorate.
