Michael Rider, Celine's artistic director, named WWD's 2026 Menswear Designer of the Year

Michael Rider, artistic director of Celine, the French label owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, has been named the 2026 WWD Honor for Menswear Designer of the Year, as the New York-based trade publication WWD reported on 27 October 2026. Rider was appointed Celine's creative director in October 2024, succeeding Hedi Slimane.
