A messaging app that lets you slow things down on purpose
Logan Mendelsohn, a trust and safety manager at Ticketmaster, built Roost to reverse how messaging apps think about speed. Instead of treating delivery latency—the delay between sending and receipt—as a problem to eliminate, Roost lets users choose it: pair your message with a falcon (fast), hummingbird (moderate), snail (slow), or turtle (very slow). Slowness becomes a feature, not a flaw.
