Netanyahu Announces Large-Scale Hebron Operation, Orders Preparations for Wider West Bank Closure

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a large-scale military operation across Hebron, in the occupied West Bank, and ordered preparations for wider movement restrictions across the territory. It followed a shooting attack near Hebron's western entrance that killed two Israeli soldiers and the two Palestinian gunmen. Netanyahu had earlier said Israeli forces would demolish homes in the West Bank.
