Surface Laptop Ultra's First Major Firmware Update Leaves Screen Ghosting Unresolved

Microsoft's October 22 firmware update (low-level software built into the device) for the Surface Laptop Ultra addresses screen flickering, unexpected restarts and long reboot times, according to its update history page. Windows Central reports the update did not resolve the reported screen ghosting issue. The update takes effect after a restart and cannot be uninstalled or rolled back.
