Raman campaign calls Bass's TV ad film tax credit claim a "whopper"

Nithya Raman's campaign has called a new TV ad from LA Mayor Karen Bass a "whopper" over credit for California's expanded film tax credit. In the ad, Bass says she "cut fees and expanded film and TV tax credits." Raman spokesperson Liz Garcia says Bass is claiming credit for legislation approved in Sacramento. Both candidates face voters in November.
