EIA Sees 2027 Henry Hub Gas Averaging $3.16

The U.S. EIA forecasts Henry Hub spot gas, the benchmark price for immediate delivery, averaging $3.16 per MMBtu (million British thermal units) in 2027, down 32 cents, or 9%, from 2026. This is a modeled expectation, not a promise. Futures fell four sessions to October 21 on mild weather, though that does not settle January and February risk.
