Thousands of Venezuelans Protest Nationwide, Demanding Free Elections

Thousands of Venezuelans protested in Caracas, Valencia, Maracay, San Cristobal and Maracaibo on October 22, 2026, demanding free elections. It was the opposition's first nationwide protest in nearly two years. Vente Venezuela, the movement of Maria Corina Machado, organised it. The ruling Socialist Party also called for a march in Caracas. No election date has been set.
