inDrive, Pony.ai and Nvidia Plan Astana Robotaxi Tests from 2027

inDrive, Pony.ai and Nvidia have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore running Pony.ai robotaxis on inDrive's ride-hailing platform. Testing in Astana, Kazakhstan, is planned to start in the first half of 2027. It is a proposal only: no vehicles are operating yet, and initial tests would include a safety operator, a human who can take control.
