Sacha Baron Cohen said the Ironheart team offered him the role of Mephisto, the devil, and first made sure it would not offend him as a Jewish actor. He made the claim on 21 October at New York's 92nd Street Y, according to Variety. Marvel Studios had not responded to Variety's request for comment.
