Serbia's Ruling Party and Student List Believed Close Ahead of October 25 Vote

Ahead of Serbia's October 25 parliamentary election, the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and the student-backed Student List are believed to be running close, AP reported, making the outcome uncertain. The Student List is fielding 250 candidates for the 250 seats, on a platform centred on fighting corruption. The SNS has governed for more than 14 years.
