Wounded Oregon Teacher Says She Pretended to Be Dead to Survive School Shooting

Becky Drury, a 54-year-old teacher wounded in the October 15 shooting at Silver Rail Elementary in Bend, Oregon, says she pretended to be dead, hoping the gunman would not shoot her again. She said she was shot at close range while trying to shut a classroom door. The attack killed a teacher and three children.
