Nick Stevens loses appeal against fraud conviction

Former Carlton and Port Adelaide midfielder Nick Stevens has lost his appeal against his fraud conviction. Three Supreme Court of Victoria appeal judges unanimously dismissed it, according to ABC News. Stevens was jailed for nine months in June over pool payments that cost six Mildura families $170,000. He will serve a two-year community corrections order after release.
