Figma acquires Bud; users have until July 2026 to migrate projects

Figma has acquired Bud, a Y Combinator-backed AI agent platform previously named Orchids. The service shuts down July 18, 2026; users must migrate projects by then or lose access. CEO Kevin Lu announced the deal on X. Integration plans and financial terms remain undisclosed.
