Figma buys Bud; you have until mid-2026 to save your work

Design platform Figma has bought Bud, an AI tool that helps with coding and project automation. Bud will shut down July 18, 2026. Anyone using Bud must download or move their projects to another service by then, or they'll disappear. Figma hasn't said how much it paid or what happens next.
