Figma acquires Bud; users have 11 days to migrate projects or lose access

Figma has acquired the team behind Bud, a vibe coding and AI agent platform previously known as Orchids. The Y Combinator-backed startup will shut down by July 18, 2026. Users must migrate their projects by that deadline or lose access. CEO Kevin Lu confirmed the deal on X; Figma has not disclosed financial terms or how Bud's technology will integrate into its product line.
