Guinea-Bissau police raid vaccine researchers, seize hepatitis B doses

Guinea-Bissau judicial police searched the Bissau offices of the Bandim Health Project on Oct. 19 and seized dozens of hepatitis B vaccine doses meant for children. Police said the vaccines will undergo legal procedures to establish facts, but said the seizure did not reflect concerns about their quality, safety or effectiveness.
