U.S. orders civilian agencies to remove DeepSeek AI tools

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has ordered federal civilian agencies to remove technology from Chinese artificial intelligence startup DeepSeek from government computer systems. The directive also bans DeepSeek products and outside software built with its technology, and blocks future purchases.
