Trump signs order for NIH women's health division, task force

President Donald Trump signed an order Oct. 19, 2026, in Washington to create a women's health division within the National Institutes of Health, the federal medical research agency, within 90 days and a White House task force on women's health. First Lady Melania Trump called it a 'transformative moment' for U.S. women's health.
