Massachusetts GOP lieutenant governor candidate suspends campaign after DUI arrest

Shawn Oliver, the Republican candidate for lieutenant governor in Massachusetts, suspended his campaign Sunday, hours after his arrest in a suspected drunk-driving crash. Oliver, 42, said "the election is too important to be overshadowed by personal matters." Police suspect him of driving under the influence after his vehicle hit parked cars and overturned.
