Gulf states cite 7,000 Iranian attacks, urge Russia to press Tehran on Hormuz shipping

Gulf Arab states told Russia's Sergey Lavrov in Bahrain on Sunday that they had faced more than 7,000 Iranian missiles and drones since the US-Israeli war on Iran began in February, according to GCC chief Jasem Al-Budaiwi. They urged Moscow to press Tehran to halt attacks and restore shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, a key oil shipping route.
