Heckler 'Tommy' identified as former Hawley aide Thomas Teepell

The man who called himself "Tommy" while pressing Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed to disavow the Muslim Brotherhood in Caro has been identified as Thomas Teepell. Teepell worked for Sen. Josh Hawley from 2023 to February, rising to operations director, according to staff records. The Handbasket first reported the identification.
