UK Found Its Student Loan System Misled Borrowers on Terms

A parliamentary inquiry concluded the government mis-sold student loans to over 52,000 people. The government hid that it could change loan terms later, used flawed comparisons to phone contracts for higher earners, and didn't clearly explain what borrowers were signing up for. More than half surveyed said they didn't understand their loan terms before borrowing.
