iPhone Duo Preorders Slip to January 2027 Amid Extraordinary Demand

Apple described early demand for its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, as "nothing short of extraordinary" as U.S. preorder shipping estimates slipped to January 2027. The $1,999 device releases Oct. 23, with delivery in 2026 no longer available. Apple said it is working to fulfill orders as quickly as possible.
