Tesla in Full Self-Driving Hits Parked CHP Cars, Two Officers Hospitalized

Two Solano California Highway Patrol officers were hospitalized with serious injuries Oct. 13, 2026 after a Tesla struck their parked vehicles on Interstate 80. The 22-year-old Sacramento driver said he was asleep with Tesla's Full Self-Driving, a driver-assist system that still requires supervision, engaged. He suffered minor injuries.
