Five dead as flash floods destroy two villages in Nepal's Gorkha

At least five people died after flash floods swept Nepal's central Gorkha district. Two villages in Chumanubri, a local council area, were destroyed, with homes, roads and bridges washed away. More than 650 people were affected and almost 100 rescued, disaster officials said. The floods followed an 11 October landslide that blocked the Budhi Gandaki River.
