British father fined €3,000 over toddler son's fatal fall in Cyprus

Joshua Foster, 37, from Essex, was fined €3,000 (£2,500) after admitting causing death through a reckless, rash or dangerous act at Paphos District Court. His 2-year-old son fell nearly 40ft from a fourth-floor hotel window in Chlorakas, Cyprus, on 12 July after Foster lifted him to show a waterpark view, thinking the window was closed.
