Jagex cancels RuneScape: Reignited less than two weeks after reveal

Jagex has cancelled RuneScape: Reignited less than two weeks after revealing it at RuneFest 2026. The studio announced the cancellation in a blog post, 'Reignited: An Update From Mod Ryan', saying player feedback convinced it to stop. The planned fresh-start mode would have used separate characters and a separate player economy.
