UK to ban strangulation porn from 6 November

The UK government says possessing and publishing online pornography depicting strangulation or suffocation will be illegal from 6 November. The ban follows a 2025 review of pornography regulation by Conservative peer Gabby Bertin, which recommended making such material illegal.
