Google split Fitbit into the $99 Air and $179 Edge. The Air is a screenless wrist tracker run through the Google Health app. The Edge has a 1.34-inch oval AMOLED touchscreen — vivid display tech — and a physical side button. Both use light-based heart-rate sensing with IP68 dust and water protection. Edge hits seven-day battery without always-on display.
