Street Fighter projected to lead North America with $25m-$35m opening

Paramount's Street Fighter is projected to earn $25 million to $35 million from 3,500 theatres in North America — domestic, the United States and Canada — on its 16 Oct opening weekend, according to Variety. The $82 million reboot, co-financed by Legendary and Capcom, is also projected to earn roughly $35 million overseas, Variety reported.
