Pope Leo Resting and Healing After Lung Operation

Pope Leo was healing as doctors expected on Oct. 14, a day after doctors at Rome's Gemelli hospital operated to take out a cancer lump from his right lung. He walked in his room after breathing exercises, ate normally, and his blood and lung picture tests looked normal. He will rest with no meetings through Oct. 20.
