FIFA proposes extra $3.4bn to take 2027-30 payouts past $6bn

FIFA will ask its Council on Thursday to approve an extra $3.4bn from reserves for 2027-2030 development, BBC reports. Added to the $2.7bn already budgeted, total distribution would top $6bn. Rules would be finalised in December, with a final vote at the March 2027 Congress.
