Expert: Gun 10-20cm from Davies when fired through door

A firearms examiner, Lucas Van Der Walt, told jurors the muzzle was 10 to 20cm from Luke Davies when fired through a bedroom door, based on burnt powder (propellant) marks matched in test-fires. Former officer Beau Lamarre-Condon, 31, denies murdering Davies and Jesse Baird in Baird's Paddington home on 19 February 2024. Prosecution alleges deliberate shooting; defence says accidental struggle.
