Archbishop says Catholic soldiers should avoid Hasan execution duty

A leading Catholic archbishop said Catholic soldiers in the U.S. Army should not take part in the firing-squad execution of Nidal Malik Hasan. The Pentagon said Hasan is set to be executed by firing squad Dec. 3 at Fort Hood for the 2009 attack that killed 13 unarmed U.S. soldiers.
