Archbishop says Catholic soldiers should not join Hasan firing squad

A prominent Catholic archbishop said Catholics in the U.S. Army should not participate in the firing-squad execution of Nidal Hasan. The Pentagon has announced plans to execute Nidal Malik Hasan by firing squad on December 3 at Fort Hood for the 2009 attack that killed 13 unarmed U.S. soldiers.
