Jones says fast-track law may change if mining decisions go against miners

Mining Minister Shane Jones says the fast-track law, which speeds up approvals for major projects, is likely to be changed if mining decisions go against applicants. Speaking at the proposed Bendigo-Ophir gold mine near Cromwell on Tuesday, he blamed slow progress on what he called a 'constipated bureaucratic beast', reports say.
