Peters' office disputes National's 26% foreign aid claim

Foreign Minister Winston Peters' office rejects National's claim foreign aid rose 26% since 2021. A spokesperson said once inflation is taken into account, the rise was about 10%, from $1.009b in Budget 2020 to $1.111b in Budget 2026. National health spokesperson Simeon Brown told RNZ the party stood by the 26% figure before inflation.
